What is it?

The VI Peel is a medical grade chemical peel formulated for various skin conditions. These peels are formulated to to reduce pigment and increase cell turnover. This peel is safe for all skin tones and types.

Is this treatment right for me?

This is PERFECT for darker skin tones that want to get rid of hyperpigmentation but are not eligible for laser treatments. The VI Peel is not only safe for every skin tone, but it can help treat the most stubborn hyperpigmentation, Melasma!

What to expect?

This peel is designed to feel comfortable and still be effective. There is an ingredient called phenol that helps numb the skin as each layer of the peel is placed on the skin. Allowing us to use the peel to the most effectiveness. With any type of peel, you may or may not peel. Everyones skin is very different, so seeing the peeling or not does not make the peel less affective. The peel still goes deep into the skin!

After the peel is set on your skin, you will be given the proper protocol to follow and skincare to keep your skin on track with the peel. This peel takes about 7 days to really show the results of the peels magic. Some people will peel after 7 days and some will finish peeling by the 6th day, though remember everyones skin is different!

It is also very important to follow the after care from this treatment. You will be guided and given all the tools you will need to have a successful treatment results!

What does the numbing feel like?

The numbing just gets rid of the minty fresh tingling feeling. After the first layer of the peel, the phenol takes action and make the rest of the treatment feel great. You will still be able to move your face and talk as normal, think as phenol as taking the edge off. After we are done with the treatment your skin will just feel hydrated and tight. You will not feel any pain or discomfort after the peel.

What’s the most important thing?

SUNSCREEN! Sunscreen is a must when you are doing this skin treatment!

Why is this so important?
Wearing sunscreen will protect the new beautiful skin that is coming to the surface. When you don’t wear sunscreen you can reverse your results by letting the UVA and UVB rays damage the sensitive new skin.
